Does PlayLog work without Playnite?
PlayLog is designed as a mobile companion for an existing Playnite library, so Playnite is required to set up and sync your data. After a successful sync, you can browse the library information already available in the Android app.
Does sync work over mobile data, not just Wi-Fi?
Yes. After pairing, PlayLog can sync and browse your library over mobile data, so your phone does not need to be on the same Wi-Fi network as your PC.
Do I need to keep Playnite open for sync to work?
Playnite and the PlayLog plugin need to run on your PC when new library updates are sent to the app. After syncing, you can continue browsing the library data already stored on your Android phone.
Is PlayLog free?
Yes. Core library browsing, Playnite sync, and playlists are free. PlayLog Plus is optional and adds premium features as they launch.
