Delete your PlayLog account

PlayLog (“PlayLog,” “we,” “us”) on playlog.online and in our mobile apps.

How to request deletion

Send an email to admin@playlog.online from the same email address you use to sign in to PlayLog. Ask us to delete your PlayLog account and associated data. We will process your request as soon as practicable and may reply to confirm your identity or details of the account.

What we delete

When we fulfill a deletion request, we delete or anonymize account-linked data we store for the service, including data used to provide the app—for example your game library and related information synced from Playnite through our servers, playlists, play status, playtime and session information, and notes you add in the app. Playnite link data tied to your account is included.

Authentication and analytics providers

We use third-party services that hold their own copies of some information under their policies:

  • Clerk (authentication) — clerk.com/legal/privacy. We initiate deletion of your sign-in identity with Clerk as part of closing your account where applicable.
  • PostHog (product analytics) — posthog.com/privacy. We request removal or limitation of personal identifiers tied to your account where we can; some technical or aggregated data may remain or age out under PostHog’s retention settings.

What may be kept for a short time

We may retain certain information for a limited period after deletion if needed to resolve disputes, meet legal requirements, or maintain reasonable backups, as described in our Privacy Policy. Server and infrastructure logs are kept only as long as our providers need for operations and security.
